  • Hey Patti, I didn't check here as often as I should, guess we are the hard core fans. I think Jordan may be seeing these messages, I don't know why the site is still up, must be someone paying for it. I listened to the podcast that Ryan's on, once was enough. Not that it is bad but just didn't feel all warm and fuzzy about it. Hope you are doing well.

  • Hi Jordan. Just heard Assist on Isle Sin episode.... so, Bluetooth in your car? Why don't ya just replace stereo with a simple replacement one with Bluetooth capability? Bought one for my moms Dodge pickup for less than 250- bucks. Now she is hands free & can listen to her own music. Was very simple fix. Good Luck as I know how much this can mean in a car. KB

  • The used car marketplace is an absolute cluster fuck right now. There's a dealer up the road from where I live that is selling a 2019 Mustang GT, I've been aware of how weird the market has been for the last year or so, and I wanted to see what they were charging online. This bog-standard Mustang, which MSRP'd for $39,000 brand new, they are trying to sell it for $41,999 with 20,000 miles on it. That's just one example of how ridiculous shit is right now. One car I bought back in 2016 for $17,800 with 13,000 miles on it is now selling for $26,000-28,000 with 50,0000 miles. You really have to do your research on buying a new(used) car. I agree with Matt's previous statement that at least if you buy from a place like CarMax they have some kind of corporate level of inspections they need to do. But I'm skeptical, and the people that are doing these inspections are most likely the lowest paid jobs in that company...So it really just depends on who is completing those checklists...Is it someone who only has that job because they need to pay bills (read: absolutely hates the fucking job?) Or is it someone who generally enjoys doing that kind of work? If I was looking for a car, I would probably take the effort places like CarMax puts into those checklists with a grain of salt. And honestly the same goes for regular Dealerships as well.

  • Fantastic show guys, Jordan I can relate to your paying the rent method. I had a storage unit for several years and would hey bye going in and paying them in person. If I chose to pay online they charged an extra $5. The problem with going in it was about 15 miles away from my house so if I had to be doing something it was very inconvenient. The other problem with going in is even though there was someone that was supposed to be there most of the time they were out doing a maintenance and we're not in the office so I would have to wait around 15 minutes up to an hour for them to come back to the office so that I could pay them. Then when covid hit things got really fucked up they wouldn't accept payments and person and you can only pay online but they would still charge the five extra dollars. They did drop it for a while but like the thing with mask they would then say no,now you have to pay it, then no you don't then yes you do I finally got fed up and just cleared out my storage unit. Not to mention the increased in the rent of the space. Good day I cleaned it out there were several other people emptying their spaces too because the rent had gone up almost $30 for a grand total of $175 a month. I am now getting notices from them that they're offering a special move in deal hand the price has gone back down to what my original payment was but I'm not falling for that.

  • OK,tried the Mt Dew Flamin Hot......what a fuckin lie! I was so disappointed in this. The flavor is actually pretty good, I was expecting a hot taste or at least some kind of heat. It has very, very little if any. I would say if you ate 2 or 3 Flamin hot Cheetos and dunked your fingers in a Mt Dew it would be the same. The only way I was able to get any hot flavor was to chug 1 down, then it had a little (very little) after taste of heat.

  • COMMENT RE-DUE. The Mike Tyson incident, I think the guy got exactly what he deserved, he just looked annoying the few seconds that you see him in the video, and what kind of fucking moron is going to piss off Mike Tyson intentionally or otherwise, if Mike says leave me alone or chill out it's best to do it. I also think the guy got off pretty late if Mike Tyson was really hitting him full force he wouldn't have looked so good. I'm not a huge Mike Tyson fan but I am on his side this time. And the guy just had a face screamed punch me. Also sounded like he had quite the record not that that really has anything to do with it. Anyway I enjoyed the show thanks a lot guys.

More weird drinks I have not tried this one myself but my daughter has ,Pepsi maple syrup........ what the fuck! Just the sound of it makes my teeth hurt. There's also a Mountain Dew flaming hot, which has the Flamin Hot Cheeto flavor I don't think it has the flavor of the Cheetos just the hot part. That one I'll give a try when I find it.

  • Another drink you may try is Pepsi Nitro, this was a epic fail for me, I like Pepsi and thought with a name like Pepsi NITRO it was going to have a lot more carbonation, it was the complete opposite. It is nitrogen infused and dissipates very quickly, leaving very little if any fizz. I would compare it to opening a Pepsi in the morning letting it sit until late night then drinking it. Had no real flavor difference.

  • Finally listened to the show again. Have any of you guys tried the new Coke Starlight? It comes in regular and zero sugar. It's supposed to taste like outer space if this is what the outer space taste like I don't want to go. My interpretation would be if you were drinking a raspberry soda while eating a chocolate mint brownie that was burnt, then throwing up in your mouth..........and swallowing it. My wife on the other hand absolutely loves it. Maybe you guys can do your own review on the show.

  • I think the biggest difference between our experience was I knew it was coming, and had to drink a gallon of water mixed with the stuff, with you it was taken not knowing what the catastrophic analysis failure would be. I was told to drink ALL of the one gallon and by the end should be pooping crystal clear. I can't imagine what you experienced with all the nuts. I went from fairly normal to thick Mexican hot chocolate to chicken soup and finally what looked like watered-down Mt Dew.

A few years ago when I had a colonoscopy the doctor suggested I take some of that in preparation along with some other secret ingredient that they gave me the tasted like lemonade. The end result was the same, I became a human water cannon. At first it wasn't that bad I have heard the horror stories of people that took it and spent hours in the bathroom, I was expecting the worst right away but it took a while to kick in, then once it did I move my laptop and set up shop in the bathroom for the rest of the day. I have a little bleeding but doesn't sound like as much as you did. The most surprising thing was I would swear more came out then what went in.

  • Hey guys! When I heard Jordan's feelings on decorating I could relate. My wife and I love Halloween, so we decorate the house inside and out. No tacky blowups in my yard! We do the spooky fun yard. But then we take it down and put the normal inside stuff back up for a couple weeks, then take that down and decorate for Christmas. That is more work than I enjoy. We now leave up Halloween until we are ready to break out the Christmas stuff. It is a little more efficient and I get a couple extra Halloween weeks. I had a roommate once that put up a Halloween tree decorated with skeletal parts and spooky things. Then before Thanksgiving would decorate a couple trees for the living room, one for the dining room, each bedroom and a small one in the kitchen. There were at least 5 Christmas trees each year each with its own theme. That seemed a touch excessive to me, but the man loved Christmas. Have a great week and stay safe!

  • JD - you are looking too granular. Like google in street view. You’re putting enough miles in now that you need to view weeks like you used to view days. Took a day off, ok. I’ll make it up in a day or two. View each week now as you used to view a day. Had a low mile week, ok. I’ll make it up in a week or two. I’ve ran a few marathons in my day and I can tell you from experience that you need to lift your elevation a little. Great to hear I’m not the only one who suffered those thoughts. Love the show!!

  • Listening to you talk about poverty brought back a lot of memories. Until three last ten years, I spent most of my time barely making rent and food was ramen and off brand everything. At one point I went a week without a meal and discovered that grubs really aren't that bad. I do not miss that. My wife and I really enjoy the little things like money in savings and being able to fill the cupboards without worrying about the mortgage. Now I have the luxury of fasting or doing a juice cleanse for a week. It's a nice place to be. Wish I had the energy I had back in the day though. Have a great week and stay safe!

  • Looking forward to a show tonight, My latest Rona scare was My wife was exposed to someone that had it. She goes to O.A meetings every Tuesday, everyone wears mask and most have been vaccinated. One lady was tested positive, This person is highly educated and works in the medical field, they were feeling bad but went to the meeting anyway. She found out on Thursday but did not tell any one until Sunday. Her reason for not saying anything sooner was "you have to wait to be tested, so it dose not matter". Well that may be true about having to wait to be tested, but what about the people you come in contact with in the meantime. Really pissed me off. Everything turned out ok, no Rona for us. This is not going to end anytime soon as long as there are fucking morons that do this shit, educated one at that. Smokey the Bear is right, its not up to the doctors to fix this, they have done their part, its up to the people to do there part, God help us.......

  • Jordan, I thoroughly enjoy your solo shows, I think it's because you're speaking directly to us the listeners rather than speaking to another person in the room, so the shows are more personal. The night before Christmas story you told was excellent, you have a special gift at telling a story. When you told the story about the radio station you use to work at I started to look it up and then you said, "for those looking it up" it freaked me out, it was like you were in the room watching over me.

  • Watching sosomeone die is never Pleasant, but I think for the most part you can do without therapy. As a kid I grew up in Upland and we lived next to the railroad tracks, I remember there was an incident where a man in a wheelchair intentionally killed himself by Rolling his wheelchair onto the tracks. I didn't see it actually happened but minutes later the train had stopped and there were police all over the tracks and started looking around everywhere. It was brand new I noticed that there were parts everywhere and not from the wheelchair.Later on we went over the wall and took a look around and we had noticed chalk marks that indicated body parts like "brain,"lung and so on. I did see someone actually die at the Winter Nationals in Pomona one year, it was a sky diver that was part of the pre show and he misjudged his landing and hit the K rail at the start of the track. I have also had My oldest brother die in My arms. Non of it was pleasant but I think I'm doing fine. Your right in humour helping to cope with things like that as long as it doesn't go too far. Thanks for the show guys.

  • Jordan, I remember playing WoW with you when your house caught on fire in highschool. I don't remember exactly what we were doing in WoW, but your character stopped moving for a longer than normal period of time...Then all the sudden a little speech bubble popped up above his head that read "House is on fire, I'll brb", then after 5 minutes, your character sits down and your status changes to "AFK", then after a few more minutes your character disappears as the server boots you off from being AFK for so long. It was before cell phones were something everyone had, so I couldn't call you, and I don't think I even knew your house phone # so I basically just sat there, silently panicking for my friend who is 5-6 states away. He didn't even get his character to an inn before he logged out he isn't going to get ANY rested experience.

  • EXCELLENT SHOW!! Jordan you managed to pull off the unthinkable doing a show by yourself for OVER 1 hour, that is the equivalent of running a 4 minute mile before Roger Bannister did it. When you were talked about not being too happy with your running until you saw the guy in the wheelchair reminded me of the Jewish Proverb: “I felt sorry for myself because I had no shoes, until I met a man who had no feet.” I like how you switched things up a little bit since you were doing a solo show, no music for comments, no song at the end of the show and no banging of the gong, it reminded me of a team wearing their practice jerseys instead of wearing their game uniforms. Jordan since you like backpacking you should hike the Patagonia Trail, in the southern tip of Chile. I did it in December 2019, it is a 7 day hike, I carried a backpack with my food and rented the tent, mat and sleeping bag at the different campsites along the way. I survived 7 days by only eating crackers, tuna and sardines, you can drink the water from the running creeks without filtering it, it’s mountain water spring fresh. Nice job of dropping a Rush lyric, I like the Rush lyric from another song: “I’m not giving into security under pressure, I’m not missing out on the promise of adventure.” If Jeremy is with you for this show, ask him the question I had for him in my comment last week. Next week, I’ll be vacationing in the Dominican Republic for a few days so I’ll listen to your show later in the week.

  • Hi guys! It's been a while since I've commented because of chaos in my life. I recently changed jobs to something far less dangerous and stressful. I am only doing it part time so that I can focus on making and selling my art. Life adjusted enough to make it a possibility and I know that if I don't do it now, the chance may never come again. I've lived so much of my life hand to mouth, there's no way I'm passing on a chance to actually live my dream. Jordan, I hope you can figure out your living situation. Rent is far too high everywhere. Here in Oregon a studio can run $1400 or more! Wages have created a situation where most people can't afford to live alone, not just those making minimum wage. Thanks for doing the show. I may not comment a lot, but I do listen each week. Have a great week, stay safe, and creative!

  • I like the topic on the table "risks & regrets" I remember a time when Jordan took a risk it was just last year when he played the stock market, so Jordan the next time your "mother" tells you to take a risk you can bring up that to her or not. Jeremy you talked about being at the movies with your dad when there was an active shooter in the mall, I'm curious to know, what was your dad's reaction, was he ready to revert back to his old NFL days and sack the shooter as if he were a quarterback or did he go into Police offer mode? Jordan I'm glad to hear you're back eating beans, they really are a great source of protein.

  • Jordan you said: "I feel like if I go on vacation, I might not comeback" did you mean that as in, "I'll enjoy my time off so much I won't want to return to the job" or did you mean "the company might figure out they can do with me and tell me not to comeback?" Your statement left me confused. Jordan your example of those people who went from living in a run down apartment with roaches and rats to owning their own house with a 6 figure income got me thinking, I'm pretty sure they got there by taking a shot and not playing it safe, like in football instead of running the ball up the middle for a couple of yards, drop back and throw a long bomb; sometimes you just have to say "F-it" and step out of your comfort zone, take a chance and see what happens.

You have been by yourself for sometime now and I think you will be a stressed mess moving in with someone who has crazy habits! Hate to think you would end up just in your room you rent. I say bite the bullet and get yourself a nicer studio apartment. Hate to think there would be no more podcast. Matt, hope all goes well with your medical procedure.

  • Here is a short and to the point version of my comment, My daughter never wanted the vaccine, she is well protected at work . She has a carefree attitude outside of work around home about protection and has a new baby and her husband has diabetes. All great reasons to get vaccinated. She got the virus from I barbecue not from work for sure , but blames it on work. I tried to tell her it was a good thing but said that was only my opinion. Now she seems it a little differently only be guarding her husband but she still will not get the vaccination. So I forwarded the last podcast to her to show other people (you guys) do you think the same way I do. Ok, she's getting too long again thanks guys

  • Jordan, you need to drink water when you run especially if you are running over 10K, think of it like this, you wouldn't drive your car without motor oil in the engine so you shouldn't be running without water. NOT getting the COVID vaccine is like putting 1 bullet in the chamber, spinning it, putting the gun to your head and pulling the trigger. I wonder what Torrence's parents would say if it was explained to them like that?

  • Okay something else I thought of when I did tell my daughter that I thought the vaccine was a good thing and then it seems to really be working her response was" well that's your opinion" so that's why I want her to hear the last podcast, to actually hear other people that have the same opinion and I consider you guys pretty smart and you're closer to her age group so maybe just maybe she'll listen

  • Ok, here it goes this is probably going to skip around a bit and it's going to be very long so if you don't read it on the podcast I will understand but it's something I need to do for myself just to vent. Everything that you talked about with vaccinations the virus and the attitude that people have is something I've been trying to convey to my daughter. I talked about her a little bit but here's a little background she's in her late thirties she just had her first baby in December and her husband is type 1 diabetic. She works for a large state-run company in the accounting department she's the one that takes your money when you go in to pay. Her work conditions are pretty good , she's behind a plexiglass Shield which was there before covid for security reasons and she can wear her mask and have hand sanitizer and gloves. Pretty good conditions compared to some other places of work. When the vaccines were first introduced she asked me what I thought, I told her I definitely will be getting one but I kind of want to wait and see how things go for a few months I would probably have to wait anyway because I'm not in the first or second group. Since she is considered an essential worker she was in the first group. She then told me there is and I quote" no fucking way I'm ever getting it" . I asked her why and she said she did not want to talk about it. Now I don't know what category she falls into the "you can't tell me what to do" category or I'm afraid to get this cuz I'm going to get really sick from it, I just don't know. So I've been trying to convince her subtly to get the vaccination I would mention people that I know that have gotten sick because they did not have the vaccination. I would think since she just had a baby and her husband was type 1 diabetic that would be more reasons than ever to get the vaccination. Now this is where things get strange and I don't understand, she would wear her mask when going out in public like to the store . But she would have people over like for her baby shower back in May of 2019. She had about 15 women over she sent me lots of photos not one was wearing a mask and they're all hugging each other and just hanging out. This really concern me and I said unless you really know that person and every person that that person hangs out with I don't think it's too safe. Her response is all be fine you worry too much they're all good. So I kept telling her how I thought the vaccine was good and it seems to be working but to deaf ears. In my head I'm thinking don't come crying to me if you get sick and if you do it's your own fault but I never actually told that to her. Well beginning of July she said she was having a get-together on the 3rd she had about 20 people over again sending me pictures no one wearing a mask everyone having a great time no social distancing and so on. So on July 12th she notifies me that they're in the emergency room her husband has been tested positive, then an hour later she tells me she has been tested positive. I'm ashamed to admit my first reaction was that I was really pissed off more than I was worried. I really wanted to tell her I told you so but refrained. Now she's trying to blame it on her work they had their Lobby closed before the Fourth of July but then opened it back up afterwards. She won't admit it was from her little 4th of July Gathering. Keeping in mind the lobby of where she work wasn't opened until the 7th so I don't think she would have gotten sick that fast. Also there's all the precautions that I mentioned earlier the plexiglass Shield the mask and the hand sanitizer all there. From the date of her get together and the time she was sick seems to be about the right amount of time and since there was a large crowd of people it just makes sense that's where she caught the virus from. Luckily she is doing okay and her husband to although he did have to go in for some intravenous hydration. She still does not want to get vaccinated but now the part where I fought don't come Cryin to me has started. She's mad at the doctor's cuz they won't vaccinate her husband for 90 days because of the treatment he received I don't understand why but my wife had to go through a similar thing where she couldn't receive the vaccine because of some medical treatment she received. She's telling me no you don't understand he's diabetic he could die it's very important he gets the vaccine.,,,,,, well duh that's why I've been trying to tell you all along. I think that she falls into the category of being afraid of the vaccine or having to admit that there is something serious out there and if she gives the vaccine that makes it real. Jeremy you mentioned the guy in the store that stared at you, I have experienced this many times even though my wife and I are vaccinated we still where are masks, I understand that you can transmit the virus and you still can get sick. These people don't get that. I was going to the grocery store the other day and there was a woman in her sixties who wasn't wearing a mask as I was entering the store she was just behind me I stopped quick to pull up my mass before I entered then she looked at me and said " just get vaccinated already" without hesitation I pulled out my vaccination card and showed her and told her I am vaccinated I'm just not stupid, I don't want to be responsible for killing someone's family member. Her response was if you're vaccinated you won't get sick and everything will be good. So I explained to her she needs to get her facts straight not get her information from social media, which I think may have contributed to my daughters problem. I'm glad that businesses are now checking to be sure you have your vaccination card I think this is probably the best thing that has happened in all of this mess as long as it can be enforced it may start turning things around. I think it was Jeremy that mentions going to the movies and hearing someone cough, anywhere I go and I hear someone cough it's like a gunshot ringing out. I know people are going to cough regardless either allergies or just something in their throat but it sure raises the hairs on the back of my neck. Then there's the ones that may not have covid-19 they're sick and they're still out there I don't give a fuck if it's a common cold or full-blown Covan you shouldn't be anywhere if you're going to be coughing and hacking. Anyway I guess that's it for the moment I'm sure I'll think of you some more stuff and I'll add a new comment. I am going to send my daughter a link to the last podcast and I want her to listen to it of course this goes against what I've told her about listening to Covid news through social media but in this case I approve.

  • I have always had cars that were easy to work on, oil filter location, spark plug location , air filter and other things that may need maintenance . I have a Ford ( MUSTANG) Dodge ( piece of shit) and Chevy truck, all are pretty easy to do everything. My wife hade a Honda ACCORD, the oil and plugs were easy but things like water pump, alternator were a real pain in the ass, if I had a 5 year old girl with long fingers to get into the tight spots would have helped. I have always done my own work ( ONCE WARRENTY RUNS OUT) and have been since I was able to drive, I had 3 older brothers that did the same thing, so I learned a lot from them and My dad. Now its a bit of a curse, everyone knows that I can fix cars and always want me to fix their cars for free. I do help some of them, or at the very least tell them what the problem may be. Like the shoe today, even though you blew off the comments........lol. the one I made about making some new animation videos was response to your latest water disaster. You probably all ready figured that out.

  • Matt had the best line of the show: "If I'm at my mothers for the next 7 years hopefully I'll be in a box on the mantle." I wonder if Matt's mom will put Matt next to mittens? Jordan, the next time someone asks you if you're training for something, you should F with minds and say something like, "I'm training for the Taliban" or you could say "You haven't heard? they are coming from Space to take us all away, I want to be ready when they come." Jordan, if you don't like strangers talking to you, you should move to the west coast. As far as the lost show, it was bound to happen since Jordan hadn't had a complete melt down on a show in a long time plus at the start of the last show, Jordan jinxed himself by playing the song "Happy." Have a great week guys, I'll be on vacation, I'm taking my 90 year old dad to Ireland, we are going to rent a car and drive around the island for 10 days.

  • Just heard 5/30 podcast. YES, I am still way behind, but wanted to let you know Jordan, i heard you speak of my comment about missing episodes and my WTF's.... I cringed bad. I am a little angry still for even posting it, as was not fair, but honest. However, here is a small explanation why I reacted that way. I felt betrayed. I felt abandoned. Every single best/close friend I've had has hurt me so terribly, and in such a way that 1. we are either no longer friends or 2. friendship is changed so internally for me that I will never trust them again. Only my mother. She is only person who has never hurt me. So yes, I feel you are my friends and i've been so loyal & love everything about each of you. IO am truly sorry if I upset any of you or gave you the same anxiety i felt. I have been bullied, date raped, abused by supposed friends while drunk, lied to, lied about, accused by a thief it was ME (proven later who did it - it was HER)and in a difficult relationship. It's why I prefer you guys to anyone else. ? Because you are SAFE. How can you hurt me right? huh... well, we figured that one out didn't we? I told you that you all mean the world to me..... i cant explain why, so felt completely alone. But I am sorry for sounding like an asshole, cuz I'm really not. Just messed up in the head these last few years, which is NOT NORMAL for me. I am a total people person, super friendly, but that has been taken away from me and I don't know how to get it back. Im struggling as do you. Every day. Thanks Jordan, Torrance, Matt, Jeremy, and the one we will never forget, Ryan for even doin this ONE time, let alone continually for years, for us lost souls. Peace out. KB

  • Nice show guys, it's amazing that Jordan has been podcasting since 2005, he's been doing it longer than Adam Carolla and only 1 year less than Adam Curry. It's good to have Jeremy back on the show, I like what Jeremy had to say "I have to be careful about how much details I give about the restaurant where I work, because the sleuths might figure it out" Later Jeremy said, "I can't say the name of the place where I use to work because Matt still works there" I found that interesting because now that Matt no longer lives with Jordan, Matt let the apartment name slip out, maybe now that the sleuths know where Jordan lives, that will motivate Jordan to find a new place to live. Now that the election has come and gone it got me thinking, if you had to make a pie chart on the key factors why Trump lost, what would your pie chart look like? for example 35% mishandled Covid, 50% race issues, 15% healthcare issue.

  • Nice show guys, I like that you saved the video game talk for the last part of the show. I enjoy listening to you guys talk about travel, it always motivates me to go somewhere, I'm still amazed that Jordan hasn't been west of the Mississippi river. It's good to know Patti is safe and doing well owning a 2nd home in Wisconsin, so it got me thinking, since Jordan's never been west the Mississippi River and Patti has a 2nd home in Wisconsin, it would be a nice gesture if Patti offered up her home in Huntington Beach to Jordan when Patti is in Wisconsin, I think it would be a safe bet that Jordan wouldn't take Patti up on her offer since it took Jordan 3 days of putting on his swimming trucks before he finally went in the pool. Have a great week guys, I'm really enjoying the Sunday shows, it's a great way to start my week.

  • I like the way you guys think about cars; what I do is buy a brand new really good quality car and then I keep it for 20 years. I've only bought 2 cars my whole life, I bought one in 1983 and then another one in 2003 in 2 more years I plan on buying a new car. Meanwhile, with all the money I save from NOT buying a new car every 7 or 8 years I'm able to travel and then when I'm ready to buy a new car, I'm able to pay off the car without having a car payment. Jordan, you don't have to go all the way Vegan, just cut down your meat eating, I went from eating meat 7 days a week for dinner to 2 or 3 days a week, in the end it makes a big difference towards eating healthier.

  • that is funny about you car inspection, here they really do give a shit about lights, brakes, windows and other "SAFETY" items when we have the car "SMOGGED". But if you change something that's not "stock" and approved by CARRB they will make your life MISSARBLE. My Mustang has a few MODS, I have been lucky every year and had no problems yet, but a friend with the same year car and same MODS gets to jump through hoops every time, takes him twice as long to get his car through inspection and has to go to a REF to inspect the car , even if the emissions are good, its the parts he has put on that make them fail it. The parts come with a sticker that has a code number that they are to use while doing the inspection that tell them its legal to use in California, but some of the inspectors are assholes and just want to piss the guy off. I am in Lake Havasu today, its one hundred and twenty fuck degrees, just too fucking hot to do anything, The LONDON BRIDGE is here, it was not a mistake on the purchase, Robert McCulloch bought it to attract people to his planed community back in the 70's. He was the owner of McCulloch outboard motors and chainsaws, he used Havasu to test his outboard motors. It is a very beautiful city, it was a lot better 20, 25 years ago because it was like an oasis, with just the LONDON BRIDGE and a small shopping village with housing sparsely around . Now you can hardly see the bridge, the Spring breakers have fucked everything up, there are night clubs, hotels oversized shopping complex's all around the bridge, looks like shit. We bout a house here 20 years ago before if got this way, but still love it . Its not bad in he off season and we go all the time. This is the first time since march 2019 that we have been, just needed to check up on the house. One cool thing is it is hard to get lost, because the way the city is laid out, if you keep driving on almost any road you will eventually end up on the highway or one of the main roads through town.

He was furloughed for many months and then in December Disney started at the top with the long time employees and let them all go. Kinda crazy but it all worked out. Luckily financially we were in a good place. The awesome news was that our daughter had a baby girl the end of November. We ended up buying a second home up here in Lake Geneva Wisconsin. We are 45 minute drive from seeing the baby! We came for a month and 7 months later we are still here. Headed back to HB after the 4th of July. I will be a mess leaving my daughter and family. We have been so blessed to see our precious granddaughter grow. Our house here is great, got it furnished so all we had to do was move in after our 4 day drive. Family came in and had it all decorated for Christmas. So there ya go! Sorry if I rambled and shared too much family stuff! Jordan as you know I have been on board with you since your first podcast! Not going anywhere! Note: Both my daughter and her husband got Covid. My husband and I are both vaccinated! I am feeling anxious about flying home. Cheers to all the guys!

Jordan I want you to know that no matter what you do or how much you talk about yogurt I am here as a listener until the wheels fall off. hahahahah....I submitted a comment earlier, but when I clicked on "add comment" my submission seems to have disappeared so if this is the second submission you see read the first one....lol. Few years back you and Ryan helped me cut the cord with my cable. So, I am here for more tech advice. This is on behalf of my daughter. She will be moving up north here in Cali to Berkeley to attend school. She was hired by ESPN to work remotely as an editor while attending school. She is not interested in getting cable service just internet and of course have access to Wi-Fi. Does she need to purchase the router from her local company in Berkeley? Or should she buy a router of her choice? If so, any recommendations? Lastly, she will be on occasion commuting from Berkeley back home here in Pico Rivera via auto, would she be able to have access to WiFi while traveling or while camping with friends on her laptop? She states there are some camping sites with "hotspots" that may enable her to do so. Any help here would be appreciated as you see we are not the most tech savvy. Thanks again for all you do...yogurt talk and all. :)

  • Redlands is just on the border of the desert, it's a very beautiful little city and has been around since the late 1890s. There are still many homes and businesses that were built in the early 1900s. It was primarily an orange Grove Town along with lemon groves. You can probably Google Redlands oranges and see some old box labels from the companies that were here. Most all of the Groves are gone now there's less than a handful around. Just have since I've been living here the last 28 years at least a dozen of them have disappeared and have been turned into shopping malls are housing tracks. Very disappointing. We are also a viking town that's bicycles not motorcycles and there is a annual race here the finals for some big bike race series. Almost all the streets have bike lanes and there's at least a dozen bicycle shops. It's usually pretty green year round and we are a few miles from the mountains which always look beautiful when they're full of snow. The desert starts about 20 miles to the east, with scattered homes and ranches in little shopping complexes then you go out into the real desert towards Palm Springs. It does get hot as hell around here but it's tolerable. If you ever had Hanger 24 beer it's probably from here, they are just a mile away from my house. We really like it here and lake Havasu.

  • Sounds like things will be getting interesting with the apartment situation..... hopefully it will work out positive for everyone.Jordan you may want to have your car scanned before you have it smogged ,if you are getting a intermediate check engine light and you take it when it's out, it still may not pass. You computer may just be in the middle of a cycling test. I had this problem with my truck last year, there was a full level sensor in the fuel tank that was bad, it would throw the check engine light every 250 miles then go out. I replaced the part and took it to be smogged but it did not pass, had to drive it the 250 miles for the computer to complete it's test. Once I did that it was good to go. I just did my P.O.S NEON that had been sitting for a year, the battery was bad and had to replace it. I did not get any check engine light but because the battery basically reset the computer it also had to be driving a certain amount of miles to reset everything. I have a scanner so was able to check to see when it was ready for the smog test. Some places will check it first if you ask, or auto parts store will check it for you. We have a lot of wildlife in the backyard even though we are fairly rural. We have a family of possums,a mama with 5 babies she caries on her back, a racoon once in awhile, rats, lots of lizards ( blue belly fence lizards and glass belly or alligator lizards. There is a flock of wild Red crown , parrots that are the loudest motherfuking Birds I've ever heard. Then a mother fucking piece of shit gophers, these I kill when I can. I can not poison them because of the dog and there's a lot of cats in the neighborhood , but do go out at night with a pellet gun and shoot them. I happened using some repellent to get them out of the yard which works most of the time, but occasionally I'll get that one that will not move on and just dig more holes as if to say fuck you bring it on. I miss my cat because he always kept them away. Anyway great show, thanks.

  • Hey guys, I’m still with you, I’ve listened to every episode. I listen to a ton of podcasts and books so I don’t always get through all 5 hours but I get through most. It’s usually around when “yogurt talk” starts when I pull the ripcord. I love just hearing how young people are dealing with life and gaming. I’m still a WoW player after 16 years without a break but I’m finally starting to burn out. It used to be a place where I could go to escape the world for a little while but now after blizzard got bought out and the world has been imploding, it just seems like the outside world is leaking in more and more. So now it’s become more “work like” and less escapism. I wish we got a few more life updates from you all, I’d love to hear about Jeremy’s perfect job search and I always need a house project update from Torrance. Plus we never get enough Ryan news. One last thought, Am I the only one when driving around Redlands looks around wondering “could that be Richard?” Love you guys…

  • Thank you to Anonymous for link. I tried going through Spreaker but everything showed wiped out. Now I can try to catch up today. That hurt, but I understand Jordan - change. Anyway, I wish everyone well and have a safe and funfilled weekend. Caio.

  • Well, just listened to the 3 minute blurb and I am so bummed you wiped out all olders episodes. Did not get a chance to listen to all of them, as was still only at end of March. Thanks for blowing it all off Jordan. Your listeners deserved better than that, but its your show, but I may not come back now. Not that you care. That was NOT cool. Fuck
